Ground engineering works

We have a team of experienced engineers, technicians, and state-of-the-art equipment to meet the vast challenges of ground engineering and to cater to its ever-growing requirements.

  • Grouting: Varying Grouting solutions include High-Pressure Grouting, Gravity Grouting, and Chemical Grouting
  • Vibro densification: Vibro Densification techniques include Vibro Compaction, Vibro Replacement (Stone Columns), and Dynamic Compaction.
  • Soil nailing: Various clay nail solutions for stabilizing embankments, steep soil slopes, and using solid and hollow rebar to strengthen retaining walls

Dewatering works

To keep excavated platform dry either for further excavation or to facilitate casting raft and other sub-structures, efficient dewatering is a must for any sub-structure work. Usually, we use a wellpoint system for shallow dewatering and a deep well system for extensive dewatering. Dewatering discharge viz discharge at authority designated manholes, discharge at sea/canal, lagoon system, etc. is depends on site condition and accordingly, we arrange the discharging system.

Shoring works

Shoring is a temporary work mainly to facilitate the construction of a retaining wall. According to site condition, project requirement, and sub-soil & groundwater condition different types of shoring is used.

  • H-Beam shoring: According to sub-soil condition, either rotary drilling or vibration technique is used to install H-Beam. After installation H-Beams, concrete panels are inserted in between two consecutive H-Beams. This shoring system can be used as temporary or as permanent. In the case of temporary shoring, after casting retaining wall beams are extracted.
  • Sheet pile wall shoring: Suitable MS Sheets are inserted into the soil before excavation using vibration technique. The weight and thickness of the sheets depend on sub-soil conditions and excavation depth. This shoring system can be used as temporary or as permanent, in the case of temporary sheet pile shoring, sheets are extracted after casting the retaining wall.
  • Contiguous pile shoring system: This shoring system consists of reinforced concrete piles drilled and cast as per site requirements. Normally a gap of 50 mm is kept in between two consecutive contiguous piles, thus it is not a watertight shoring system.
  • Secant pile shoring system: This shoring system is a combination of reinforced concrete piles and unreinforced plain concrete piles cast together to make a watertight shoring wall.
  • All shoring can work as a cantilever or supported by anchor / internal strut
  • Ground anchoring works: Our powerful hydraulic drills with single/double rotary heads, drifters, and DTH enables us to install vertical and inclined anchors in almost all types of soil with a maximum pull out the capacity of anchor 120 T and length of 40.0 m. Depending on service requirements anchors can be temporary or permanent.

Piling works

We are doing bored cast in situ piles using the most advanced hydraulic rotary drilling rigs with pile diameter ranges from 500 mm to 2600 mm and a maximum depth of 72.0 m. The rigs can advance casing up to 16.0 m depth without using a Vibro hammer. Also, we are equipped with small piling rigs that are suitable to use in restricted headroom of 4.0 m with pile diameter ranging from 400 mm to 1000 mm.

Pile tests

We are well equipped to conduct various pile tests as required at the site

  • Preliminary Static load test
  • Regular Static load test
  • Dynamic load test
  • Sonic test
  • Low strain pile integrity test
  • Pull out (Tension) test

Micropile

The mini drill rig can install micropile of diameter ranging from 140 mm to 300 mm and it can work in the restricted headroom of 4.0 m.
